Overhead Door Corporation's
Thermacore 297 Series door offers the ultimate in beauty and economy in an
insulated garage door. The exterior steel face of the door is deeply
embossed with a natural wood grain texture and is available in a classic raised panel design (297 Series)
or a contemporary flush panel design (298 Series). Both series doors feature the high quality of our
patented, Thermacore, metal-foam-metal sandwich construction. |

The interior and exterior surfaces of the door are
made from hot-dipped, galvanized steel, coated with a baked-on primer, then finished with a
white, almond or sandstone, baked-on, polyester top coat for maximum protection against rust. No field painting is
necessary.
The 297 Series door is affordably priced and provides energy-saving economy through its thermal
efficiency (R-value 9.31). An EPDM, bulb-type, bottom weather seal provides a barrier
against wind and rain infiltration.

| Heavy-duty hardware--including fully galvanized hinges and track, high performance rollers an a high quality counterbalance system--is standard on the 297 Series door. As an option, regular or thermally insulated window panels can be added to any 297 or 298 Series
door. Decorative Bevelite Beveled Acrylic Windows are available in the 297/298 Series. |
